Giving Back to the Community
The Queenston Women's Chorus is proud to give back to the community by donating their net proceeds from each concert to local and national charities or local people in need.
In 2009 they recognized the importance of offering scholarships to young music students and this continues through the Niagara Musical Theatre and Voice Festival with annual scholarships to outstanding young singers.
QWC Scholarship Winners
The QWC has donated close to $8000 in music scholarships over the years. From 2015 forward they have been awarded through the Niagara Musical Theatre & Voice Festival for Most Outstanding Vocalist and Most Outstanding Musical Theatre Performer from the festival selected by the Adjudicators. The Queenston Women's Chorus is a strong supporter of young singers and the importance of furthering their vocal studies.
